Report launch: Navigating the Trade Triangle

The APPG is delighted to launched its latest report, Navigating the Trade Triangle. Over the past year, we have examined how the How the Modern Industrial Strategy, Trade Strategy and Small Business Plan translate into local impact. The APPG has held three sessions in Teeside, Belfast, and Windsor, to connect with local businesses, understand the challenges they face, and translate welcome Government ambition into positive outcomes.

You can read more about the process and the report itself here.

We are grateful to all the parliamentarians and businesses who engaged with the APPG to establish valubale findings and insights in this important policy space.

Origins

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Trade & Investment was formed in November 2024 by chair Mike Reader MP and former co-chair Lord Ben Houchen.

The group seeks to provide space for parliamentary advocates to engage with key stakeholders for meaningful growth, working together on promoting investment and empowering businesses to engage with trusted and transparent international trade.

The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade and NorthPoint Strategy serve as the co-secretariat of the group.
